Lindsey Wilson College
Through the Counseling and Human Development degree program, Lindsey Wilson College offers students a specialization in mental health and substance abuse counseling. With an emphasis on counseling ethics and multiculturalism, the 60-credit program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) equips students with clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to succeed in the field of counseling.
Graduate students in the Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling are prepared to work in a variety of settings to include mental health agencies, hospitals, residential treatment facilities, schools, and private agencies. With the addition of four courses, students can concurrently earn a certification in substance abuse counseling.
